Welcome to Daily Fantasy Solutions “Ace of Bases”. This article will give you a quick look into 4 to 5 GPP pitchers that we like for tonight’s Slate.
Jakob Junis (6,800 FD, 7,200 DK) – Junis has a 21% K rate and only 6.5% BB rate. He is going almost 6 innings per start, which puts him in Quality start territory. Tigers are hitting righties at a tune of wOBA of .295 and ISO at .147 and striking out at a 25.9% rate.
Darwinzon Hernandez (5,600 FD, 6,900 DK) – Hernandez only has 1 big league start, but had a 33% (4Ks) in that start. We all know that Texas struggles vs lefties, .284 wOBA and .127 ISO with a 23% K rate. Hernandez has big league stuff and should do well today vs a poor lefty hitting Tex team.
Trent Thornton (7,900 FD, 7,000 DK) – Thornton is my least favorite GPP article in the article, but it is hard to ignore the upside he has tonight if he is hitting his spots. Bal strikes out 25.6% of the time they have very little power .140 ISO and .275 wOBA. Thornton has flashed upside this season.
Martin Perez (8,200 FD, 6,700 DK) – Perez Is more on play on DK due to price. Seattle hits a ton of homers, but also strikes out a log. Seattle has a 25% k rate and Perez is only striking out 16.5% of batters, but he has the stuff to go deep into the game and limit the M’s offensive.
Chris Paddack (9,300 FD, 10,600 DK) – Paddack is more in play on FD due to price. SF is not a scary baseball team when it comes to power. SF also ranks as 3rd worse against the change up, which Paddack throws a lot as his out pitch. Paddack has a 27% K rate while SF Ks 25% of the time. (Paddack is also in play for cash)
Dakota Hudson – Marlins, that is all the needs to be said.
