Welcome to another addition of Ace of Base(s)! This article will highlight a few GPP pitchers that we are on for today’s slate’s! Before we dig in, let’s see how yesterday’s picks did.

Single- Clayton Kershaw 25.9 DK Points

Double- James Paxton 18.1 DK Points

Triple- Lucas Giolito 12.7 DK Points

Home Run- Joe Musgrove 11.1 DK Points

Double Dong- Luis Castillo 25.5 DK Points

Our triple and home run were a bit of let downs, but the rest came through for us once again!

Single(Safest) – Walker Buehler (10,000FD , 10,200 DK) – Walker has been one of the best pitchers in baseball this season. He is supporting a 8-1 Record with 113 strike outs (25.1%). Tonight he faces the Phillies on the Road. If you throw out the game in Coors, he has gotten over 22 DK points per start.

Double(Safe)- Andrew Cashner (8,000 FD, 8,300 DK) – Cashner comes in tonight’s game on fire. 2 straight games over 20 Dk points. While Cashner is not a strike out pitcher (18.7%), he does keep the ball in the yard. He should have no problem with the Tor bats tonight.

Triple (Risky)- Michael Pineda (8,500 FD, 9,200 DK) – Over the last 30 days, Pineda is a top 20 pitcher in terms of Dk points per game. Tonight he is at home vs the Mets and their 20% strike out rate.

HomeRun (Riskest)- Logan Allen (8,300 FD , 9,200 DK) – While Allen has had 2 bad starts in a row, I look for him to get back on track vs one of the NL’s worst hitting teams, the Marlins. Allen has shown signs of life this season, shutting out the Brewers a few starts ago.

Double Dong (super risky, low owned)- Alex Mills (8,300 FD, 6,200 DK) Mills is more of a DK play tonight because of his price. He is making his major league debut. The winds are blowing from left to right (favoring the lefties a little bit more). If Mills can keep the ball in the yard, he should fair well vs the Reds.
