CS:GO (CS Summit) 7/4

Today brings us only a 2 game slate as both the Europe and North American regions are wrapping up the long tournament. Both matches are are the Consolidation finals. Which means the loser gets 3rd place while the winner moves on to face the upper bracket finalist. So a lot on the line for these teams. Let’s take a look.

We know the deal with 2 game slates. The 2 favorites are always going to see the bulk of the ownership and a double stack of the favorites will be popular in cash. As +163 dogs, we should see lower ownership for OG despite the fact that it was actually OG who were the first to beat BIG during this crazy run BIG is having. I do think OG lose here, but I certainly don’t mind grabbing a piece like mantuu here in cash or taking advtange of ISSAA’s continued cheap price tag if needed.

BIG will be looking for some revenge here and Vegas likes them do it, putting them at -217 favorites. We know the story with BIG. All 5 guys are viable but the trio of syrsoN, XANTARES and tabseN are the pieces worth prioritizing.

Consider: mantuu (Cash/GPP) ISSAA (Value) syrsoN, tabseN, XANTARES (Cash/GPP) tiziaN, k1to (Value)

Prediction: 2-1 BIG

Gen.G Vs. Liquid

At +194, Gen.G are the slates biggest dogs. And unlike OG, Gen.G does not have past success against Liquid to give them some confidence here. Actually, they are 0-4 lifetime against Liquid, getting swept in all, including a June 12th meeting. BnTeT, autimatic and koosta are GPP only for me here.

At -263, you can expect Liquid to be very popular, especially the strong duo of EliGE and NAF. Twistzz makes for a cheaper option while Stewie2K is also technically viable, I prefer the extra $200 to get up to Twistzz if you can.

Consider: EliGE, NAF, Twistzz, Stewie2K.

Prediction: 2-1 Liquid

Good luck!

Note: Bold indicates a stronger lean for that player. All stats are over the course of the last 3 months.
