CS:GO (Mythic) 7/8

In Counter Strike by devinLeave a Comment

We are on to our last Mythic Season 1 slate. This is a 2 game slate and features the 2 semi final matches. Not surprisingly, the 4 remaining teams are 4 of the top 5 highest ranked teams coming in to the tournament. These are once again best of 3. Let’s jump in!

ODDS

Chaos Vs. Yeah

Chaos are once again the slates largest favorites, this time at -667. So we automatically know a full Chaos stack is going to be chalk. Like yesterday, all 5 players are truly viable here and you can see from the event numbers that all have upside. leaf and Xeppaa remain my favorite Chaos options.

Yeah face an uphill battle against a red hot Chaos squad who have won 7 straight. GPP only for me here with dumau, RCF and tatazin.

Consider: Xeppaa, vanity, steel, leaf (Cash/GPP) Jonji (Value)

Prediction: 2-0 Chaos

Triumph Vs. TeamOne

Triumph are -323 favorites here. You can expect the double stack with Triumph and Chaos to be very popular. Yesterday Triumph started out very slow, losing their map pick before winning the next two maps. They faced this same TeamOne squad on July 23rd and we able to sweep, 2-0. They did lose a March best of 1 match, which went to OT. So Triumph will need to show up here. While Grim isn’t having a great event, he still has the best individual numbers on the slate and will be a chalk cash play. Junior and curry remain my 2nd and 3rd plays for Triumph.

While I anticipate the double stack of the 2 favorites to be extremely popular in cash, you could consider a one off such as b4rtiN. Especially if you like TeamOne to at least take this to 3 maps. GPP for Maluk3 and prt who can be stack with b4rtiN if running GPP stacks.

Consider: Grim, Junior, curry (Cash/GPP) b4rtiN (Value)

Prediction: 2-1 Triumph

Note: Bold indicates a stronger lean for that player. All stats are over the course of the last 3 months.
