CS:GO (Nine to Five) 7/15

In Counter Strike by devinLeave a Comment

This will be the last slate for Nine to Five 1 as today brings us the semi finals and the finals will take place after. This tournament only pays out the top 2 spots, so their is a lot on the line for these teams. These are once again best of 3. Let’s dig in!

Hard Legion Vs. AGF

After pulling off a slight upset last round (pick em dogs), Hard Legion now find themselves the slate high favorites at -182. Legion feature 4 cash viable plays (svyat is a fade) in Krad, Forester, rAge and kinqie. This will be the 4th meeting between these 2 in 2020, with Hard Legion winning the previous 3 with a 6-2 map advantage overall.

AGF find themselves as +138 dogs here. This is due to the lack of success against Hard Legion coupled with the fact that AGF are using two standins in Kristou and Daffu. The line is close enough that you could consider fr0slev and TMB in all formats.

Consider: Krad, Forester, kinqie, rAge (Cash/GPP) TMB, fr0slev (Cash/GPP)

Prediction: 2-1 Hard Legion

Gambit Youngsters

Gambit come in as -135 favorites. We know the story with these guys, it is all about Ax1Le and sh1ro. Ax1Le is too cheap here at 6.8k.

AA come in as +104 dogs. Considering they have now won 9 straight, they can very realistically pull off the slight upset here, making them cash viable. They feature a deep team with 4 strong cash options (ScrunK is a fade). kressy leads the way but is priced way up. stfn is a solid value while mirbit is once again laughably cheap at 5.2k.

Consider: sh1ro, Ax1LE (Cash/GPP) kressy, slaxz- (Cash/GPP) stfn (Value) mirbit (Punt)

Prediction: 2-1 ALTERNATE aTTaX (true coin flip)

Good luck!

Note: Bold indicates a stronger lean for that player. All stats are over the course of the last 3 months.
