Draftkings is introducing yet another new tournament, Nine to Five 1. This is a 20 team event featuring teams ranked between World #29 and #172. This features a swiss style group stage with best of 3 matches. Each team has played 1 match thus far, and all 4 of today’s teams started off 1-0. Let’s dig in!

sAw Vs. CR4ZY

sAw come in as -333 favorites, largest on the slate. Per usual, this is automatically going to lead to them being the popular stack. They really feature 4 viable guys with arki being a fade. MUTiRiS is the top option and showed why in the opening event match.

As the biggest dogs on the slate, CR4ZY are a GPP stack and not cash. They do feature a strong trio of SENSEi, DemQQ and Sergiz that should come in very low owned and have upside for a GPP stack.

Consider: MUTiRiS, stadodo, JUST (Cash/GPP) rmn (Value)

Prediction: 2-1 sAw

AVEZ Vs. Illuminar

Our 2nd match features a much tighter spread with AVEZ +108 dogs. This is close enough that AVEZ are certainly cash viable here. Especially when we consider these 2 have met twice in 2020 with both sides winning a match 2-1. So they are 3-3 in terms of maps played in 2020, speaking to how close this matchup has been. KEi is the top option here as he leads the team in nearly every category. The trio of Markos, byali and Kylar are also viable with nawrot a full fade.

Illuminar are slight favorites at -141, mainly due to the fact that they won the most recent meeting between these 2 just last month. They feature 3 near identical plays in Snax, innocent and reatz.

Consider: Kei, byali, Marko (Cash/GPP) Kylar (Value) Snax, reatz, Innocent (Cash/GPP) Vegi (Value)

Prediction: 2-1 Illuminar

Good luck!

Note: Bold indicates a stronger lean for that player. All stats are over the course of the last 3 months.
