Cup Series – Indy – Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400

In Nascar by Chris BeschLeave a Comment

This week we are in Indy for the Big Machine Hand Sanitizer 400. This will be a 160 lap race, and it is a lot like Pocono, where there wont be a whole lot of passing. Dominator points are limited so place differential is where you want to focus, as well as finishing position.

Dominators

Joey Logano- Logano is starting on the pole here today, and as we have seen in the past few races, when he gets in clean air he is tough to beat. I do like Joey in both formats, but you still need a top 6 finish from him to hit value, that is my only concern, that he drop out of the top 10.

Denny Hamlin – Hamlin was the best car on both races last weekend and we come to another track that is similar. If he doesnt change the car around to much, he should be able to get up front and win this race as well. I really like Denny today.

Kevin Harvick- Harvick has been the best driver since we came back from the break. He won on Saturday and was right there with Denny on Sunday. I think the winner of today will be either Kevin or Denny. Harvick is starting 11th, which gives him an okay floor to start with.

Kurt Busch- Busch will be starting 2nd, and he is also good in clean air. If he can get in front of Joey on the start, he could be able to lead some laps and pay off his salary. He is more of a GPP play because he can fall back like he did in the Pocono race.

Aric Almiorla – AA has is running hot right now. He has 4 straight top 5 finishes he does have a decent history here at Indy and I think we can see another top 5 finish out of him. I like him for GPPs.

Best of the Rest:
Chase Elliott
Kyle Busch
Brad Keselowski
Martin Truex Jr
Alex Bowman

Place Differential

Christopher Bell – Here are again with Bell being highest priced diver on the slate. On DK he is a good GPP play as there are other drivers around him for cash games, but on FD go ahead and lock him in your cash. Bell needs another top 5 finish to value on DK, but he Is still a good play.

Erik Jones – Jones finally is priced where he should be. Jones is a top 5 finish or a bust so far in DFS. He will be popular again in cash games and I like going right back to him here.

Clint Bowyer – Bowyer has been good here in recent years, Bowyer is starting 22nd so he has a nice floor built in already. Bowyer is a threat for a top 10 finish here. I like him in all formats.

Matt Kenseth- Kenseth doesnt make the write up to often, but here we are with him starting 21st. He has decent upside at a track that he is good at in the past. A 11th place finish is all we really need out of Matt to hit value.

Ryan Preece- Preece is where I have been landing in the DK cash games. He is starting 36th,one spot in front of Bell, and is 6K cheaper. I love Preece and what he has been doing this season as long as he doesnt push his car to the limit. Like him in cash games.
