This week we are in Kentucky for the Quaker State 400. This race is 267 laps and as we have seen all weekend long, it is tough to pass the leader here.
Kyle Busch- Is this the race the Kyle finally wins? Well he is starting on the pole and if he can clear Logano then i think he can lead most if not the whole first stage. Kyle should be a bit chalky in cash lineups, so GPPs, its okay to go away from him.
Joey Logano – Logano is starting 2nd here tomorrow, and he has a chance to lead a good bit of this race. Joey has 6 top 10s in 9 races here. Joey’s price here makes him more of a GPP play, as he has no room for error, and we need him to lead laps.
Kevin Harvick- Harvick has been one of the best 2 cars here recently. He is starting 3rd and i think he is a threat to KB for leading laps early. If he can clear KB then Harvick will lead most this race. Great for cash and GPPs.
Denny Hamlin- Here is the other half of the 2 best cars in Nascar right now. Denny has figured stuff out and is lights out right now. Not only can he lead laps in this race, he has a decent place differential built in with him starting 12th.
NOTE: To be honest, im starting almost all of my lineups with either Kyle Busch, Kevin Harvick or Denny Hamlin. Those 3 are the best starting up front in the dominator group. I do like Joey, Briscoe, Truex and Brad K as pivots in GPP but I will probably be overweight on those 3 drivers.
Best of the Rest:
Martin Truex Jr
Christopher Bell – Man im tired of the Bell price up. He has been so good recently, but his price makes him so hard to fight into cash. But with that being said, Bell is in a great spot to gain 20+ spots and finish top 15 and i think he does. If you go Bell in cash you are sacrificing another dominator.
Erik Jones – Jones finally is still priced where he should be. I have faded him as the chalk in 2 of the last 3 races, and i think he is in a good spot here. He is starting 16th and has 3 top 10s in 3 races here. He is in a great spot.
Tyler Reddick- Here we ago again with the Reddick chalk. He is starting 24th and has shown great speed all year, but as you know, he pushes his car to the brink. He should be fine here in cash and i do like him a lot here.
Cole Custer- Custer is starting 29th here and has 3 straight top 20 finishes. He looks like he is figuring out the Cup Series. While he wont content for a win, i can see a top 12 finish here.
Ryan Neman- Newamn comes in at 23rd today. He has a solid track history here and if he can avoid the problems he should be in for a good finish. I like him for both case and GPP.
Best of the Rest:
Ricky Stenhouse Jr
