DIGGIN IN: BVP (6/12)

Today we have a triple split slate– Games at 12:10; 3:10 and 7:05.  The idea of DIGGIN’ IN is to find positive BVP (Batter vs. Pitcher) stats to assist in our DFS research.   A criteria that I use is a minimum 10 plate appearances and research goes no further back than 5 years.  Players change over the course of their career so it wouldn’t be beneficial or fair to make assumptions on certain veteran players (Adam Wainright or Jake Arrieta would come to mind). Here are today’s top BVP Picks:

ROUGNED ODOR- 2B- TEXAS RANGERS:

7/12 off Rick Porcello – .583 BA/1.687 OPS/.704 wOBA/.500 ISO

WHIT MERRIFIELD- OF- KANSAS CITY ROYALS

JORGE SOLER – OF- KANSAS CITY ROYALS

Daniel Norris will have hands full with the two Kansas City teammates.  Merrifield is 6/16 career with 3 Home Runs and a .375 BA/1.438 OPS/.588 wOBA/.688 ISO

Soler is 4/10 with 2 RBI’s and a .400 BA/1.255 OPS/.523 wOBA/.400 ISO

All three players would make a great addition to any DFS lineup today.

Good Luck everyone!
