RAYS @ INDIANS
Tampa Bay -182
Cleveland will send out Adam Plutko for his second start of the season. He was impressive in his first start only giving up one run on one hit in six innings. He was limited to 82 pitches and we are assuming that the leash may be a little longer tonight. The issue with Plutko is that he is a low strikeout and fly ball pitcher and Tampa knows how to hit right handers well– let alone inexperienced right handers.
Tampa is pitching a bullpen game. Ryan Yarborough has not been impressive so far. He has not pitched past 5 full innings. The Indians are getting back healthy and due to break out. They are experienced and know how to hit lefties. An Indian top of the order stack is not out of the question.
Tommy Pham- GPP
White Sox @ Astros
Rookie Corbin Martin takes the mound for Houston. It’s his third start of the season. His first start was a gem but his second start was a dud. No one knows which version of the highly touted prospect shows up tonight. We do know that he will strike out batters and I would only recommend full White Sox GPP stacks. Martin will probably
be chalk tonight. If you want a cash lineup he may be the highest owned on the slate. For gpps- I would look elsewhere unless you are mass entering.
Lucas Giolito of the White Sox is Martins pivot. He has been
impressive so far this season punching out 31% of right handed bats. That is a strong stat even against a hard contact team like the Astros. He is 5-1 with a 3.35 ERA and 50 strikeouts but this is his first meeting with the Astros in 2019. Last season the Astros lit him up to the tune of a 0-2 record and 10.61 ERA.
