Finally the LCK is back! This gives us 4 game slates on DK and FD instead of 2. These are best of 3, and remember LCK DOES NOT release starters before hand.

LPL Standings

Rogue Warriors vs FunPlus Phoenix

FPX has been struggling in recent weeks but get a very favorable matchup against the ultra aggressive and fantasy friendly Rogue Warriors. Every RW slate requires cash game exposure to their games. This is a get well spot for FPX and I love DoinB, LWX, and Crisp to post some pretty heavy numbers. Haro vs Tian is an interesting matchup to monitor as I think Haro could actually give him trouble. However, the roaming style that DoinB plays could neutralize the advantage that Haro seems to have. As far as team objectives go, FPX has an advatage in baron control, drakes, and gold differential at 15 minutes. RW has the advantage in first blood but this shouldn’t come as a shock as we know that RW is only going to focus on pushing team fights non stop. This type of chaotic style is something FPX is fully capable of playing and I think tonight they’ll remind the world just who they are. I’m predicting a 2-0 sweep for FPX with both teams racking up kills.

RW: Haro,Wuming, Zwuji

FPX: Everyone

Edward Gaming vs LGD Gaming

LGD has sprung a leak as they continue to rely heavily on their early game ability without improving their mid to late game play. This is going to be a huge issues against a team with hard carrying juggernauts like Scout and Hope. This game is a true coin flip but I will lean EDG in a 2-1 series not only because of the slight discount we get on them but because I have no confidence that LGD will be able to make it through mid game in one piece. My exposure to this game will be minimal but there is a chance for high kills with the amount of mistakes both teams are prone to making.

EDG: Scout, Hope, Meiko
LGD: Peanut, Xiye

LCK Standings

DragonX vs HLE

This is a very tough spot for DFS purposes. DRX is going to likely clean sweep HLE 2-0 but how many kills are they actually going to put up? The upside to me feels capped overall. We also get a discount and likely less ownership on DWG(who I like much more than DRX tonight). I don’t mind running Chovy or Pyosik as a one off for exposure to this game but there is too much leverage in fading tonight. They’re obviously a viable cash target but for gpps I think the upside lies elsewhere.

DRX: Pyosik, Chovy
HLE: Fade

Afreeca Freecs vs Damwon Gaming

This is a game between two teams that aren’t afraid to fight over every objective regardless of who has vision control at the time. This means more kills and more fantasy points for us. DWG already played AF a few weeks back and produced a 2-0 sweep with 45 kills to Afreecas 8. Showmaker, Canyon, and Nuguri smoked that matchup while Ghost and Beryl took a backseat. I’m expecting slate breaking scores from Canyon and Showmaker(my top 2 plays from this team) but I’m going to have heavy exposure to everyone on this team outside of Ghost. The AF trend has been to beat up on the weaker teams and fold like a cheap chair against the top tier squads, something that will continue tonight.

AF: Kiin, Mystic

DWG: Canyon, ShowMaker, Beryl
