10 game slate tonight. Lets jump right in!

Vegas totals courtesy of fanasylabs.com

Those who read my article daily know my take on large slates. I am always going to try to play skaters from teams with at least 3 projected goals in cash. Tonight that brings us 9 teams to pick from, which should provide plenty of viable plays!

First thing that stands out is the super high total for Washington. That right off the bat tells me a few things. 1. The names you know (Ovechkin/Carlson/etc.) are going to be very popular plays tonight. 2. You are going to want at least 2 Caps in your cash lineup. Why do the Caps have such a high total? Louis Domingue is starting. Dom has a whopping 5.53 goals against average in 5 road starts this year for a dreadful .837 save percentage. Load up on Washington Top 6/power play skaters today.

A few other notes worth mentioning. Jonathan Quick has a 3.6 goals against average on the road and is taking on a Carolina team that scores 3.53 goals per game at home. Henrik Lundqvist has also struggled on the road with a 3.52 goals against average and like Carolina, St. Louis also is averaging 3.53 goals per game at home. Both Carolina and St. Louis are in solid spots.

There are 3 “A+” plays on today’s Report Card. 2 of those belong to Brayden Point and Nikita Kucherov. This is an interesting game because Carter Hart is in net. Hart has been sensational at home this year with a 1.52 goals against average and .945 save percentage. But TB is averaging a slate high 3.75 goals per game on the road. Something has to give here one way or the other.

A few pricing discrepancies worth noting. Evgeny Kuznetsov is a whopping 1.7k cheaper on Draftkings than FD. Sebastian Aho and T.J. Oshie are 1.4k cheaper. Steven Stamkos, Ryan Dzingel, Matthew Tkachuk, Carter Verhaeghe (Punt only), Sean Monahan, Jordan Stall, Lucas Wallmark are also over 1k cheaper on Draftking and on teams with totals over 3 goals.

Fanduel pricing on the other hand is much tighter. Only Anthony Duclair, Brady Tkachuk and Ilya Kovalchuk are over a grand cheaper on Fanduel than Draftkings on on teams projected over 3 goals.

Let’s take a look at some values for today.

Carolina Value- There are a few viable values sprinkled throughout the lines. Warren Foegele is finally starting to see minutes and has 5 points over his last 5 games. The 3rd line of Dzingel, Haula and Necas is playing well. Lucas Wallamark continues to produce at a high level, though his minutes are less than ideal. Jake Gardiner is also worth consideration at d.

Monreal Value- Montreal has some value plays mixed in to the top 6 that also see power play time in Artturi Lehkonen, Ilya Kovalchuk and Nick Suzuki.

St. Louis PP2- Oskar Sundqvist has been moved up to the top line while Tyler Bozak and Robert Thomas each have 3 goals and 3 assists a piece over the last 5 games.

Mikael Backlund- Calgary continues to shuffles its lines a bit. Today Backlund is back on the top line with Gaudreau and Monahan. He has historically been better at home as well.

Lars Eller– Points in 4 of his last 6 minutes and seeing a healthy share of minutes.

Vegas Value– If Marchessault is once again out, Vegas will provide tremendous value. Chandler Stephenson and Paul Stasny represent cheap exposure to the top 6 of Vegas and both see power play time.

GPP low owned stacks- Chicago PP1, Edmonton PP1, Boston 1, Los Angeles 1

Good luck!
