Let’s get started!
Mookie Betts- Over 8. Mookie is off to a slow start by his standards. Nothing can turn that around like a match up with the Baltimore pitching staff. Baltimore is giving up 6.38 runs per game to start the year, good for 2nd most in the league. This is a prime, “get right”, spot for Mookie.
Joey Gallo- Over 7.5. Anytime it feels like Gallo is in a prime spot to homer, he homers. Back home, team total over 5, highest ISO on the board at .302 vs righties.
Aaron Judge- Over 8.5. Remember how I said Baltimore is giving up the 2nd most runs? Well the only team worse is the White Sox, giving up a whopping 6.73 RUNS PER GAME! Giolito is a former top prospect and his stuff is decent. But he struggles with command and confidence. Look for Judge to tee off on a Giolito throw that ends up right over the middle.
Cedric Mullins- Under 5.5. Batting .125 on the year, with a total of 3 walks and 4 his on the year, 2 of which came on the same day. Also batting 9th, limiting his expected at bats.
Always double check that the projections have not changed. If they have, fade.
