We are back with more Rocket League action. Today’s slate brings us the start of the group stage for the Sumer Grand Prix. This is a 12 team invite tournament with around 45k in prizes up for grabs. 4 teams have already been eliminated in the qualification, leaving us with 8 teams battling it out in the group stage. Group stage is best of 5. Let’s dig in!
As you can see, pretty straight forward here. Keep in mind the in game score is divided by 100. So if a player averages 400 points per game, that will be 4 points. We also see that Goals are weighted the heaviest. Keep that in mind when building. Now let’s take a look at some Vegas Odds (we will update these closer to lock as well!).
- GP- Games Played
- W%- Win Percent
- SCPG- Score Per Game
- OSCAPG- Opponent Score Against Per Game
- GPG- Goals Per Game

Team Blokes Vs. Renault Vitality
Team Blokes come in as the biggest dogs at +219. Because they are dogs, archie’s price has dropped significantly (5th cheapest on the board), making him cash viable as value with big upside.
At -303, Vitality are not only the biggest, but the only true favorite on the slate. Alpha54 is a monster and the top option on the slate, though priced accordingly. Fairy Peak and Kaydop, in that order, are viable cheaper exposure.
Team Liquid Vs. Team BDS
Liquid are a big name in the eSports world but till this point, had not been involved in the Rocket League side of things. That has now changed with Liquid forming a team this month. We don’t have a sample size for them as a team, but we do have individual numbers. Speed is the play for Liquid.
In this literal pick em match, Team BDS is absolutely viable. M0nkey M00n is the clear top option here while MaRc By 8 and Extra make for viable value/punt options.
