The Xfinity Series heads to Indy this week for the Pennzoil 150 at the Brickyard. This is the first road course of the Nascar season and its only 62 laps, so dominators arent as important but finishing position and place differential is. Today will be a bit shorter of an article, and I hope everyone has a great Forth of July!
AJ Allmendinger – Dinger is a road course specialist and he should be one of the highest owned drivers of the slate. He is starting 30th so should have a great floor already built in.
Justin Allgaier- Justin is always a good road course. He has the capability to get up front and lead some of the race. I like Allgaier as a pivot from AJ in GPPs
Chase Briscoe- Chase has been fast all year and is sneaky good at road courses. Starting 12th gives him a good floor if he can finish in the top 3, which I expect him to do.
Austin Cindric- Cindric has been one of the best drivers this season so far. He is starting 10th today and has always been good at road course.
Brandon Gdovic- Driving for Sam Hunt Racing today and Gdovic is a good road course driver. I expect him to be higher owned due to his price.
Kyle Weatherman – Weatherman showed speed in practice this week and that should translate well here. While he doesnt have Nascar races at a road course he has plenty of races at them.
