Welcome back CFB fans! Another week gets kick started early with some MAC Tuesday/Wednesday action once again this week. Let’s dive right in!
Nathan Rourke- The last 5 weeks Rourke has scored at least 26 Draftkings points in every game. He is averaging over 280 yards of total offense and 2.4 TD’s per game.
Notes: Glass has been very good as well, but draws a tough matchup with NIU. Bowers and Childers split time at QB. Childers could potentially win you a gpp as he has gone over 18 DK points 3 of his last 4 games. But he can also bury your lineup as he is TD dependent due to his lack of snaps. 2 weeks ago he scored 2.22 points. Will have to decide on the risk.
Tre Harbison- I hate just listing the most expensive plays at each position, but Harbison is the most expensive RB for a reason. He averages a slate high 90 yards on a slate high 20 attempts a game. He has gone over 100 yards 4 of his last 6 games. I do believe you can get away with fading him here though if need be.
Notes: On the surface this is a week RB slate, but in all reality there is some potential here. Keep an eye on Andrew Clair’s status tomorrow (I will be trying to get word). If he is out, Bryson Denley becomes a very solid play (he is solid regardless, but would be even more solid). Denley already has double digit points in 5 straight and would be looking at big usage if Clair is out. Clair out would also give you a punt option in Trevon Raymore, who saw a season high 16 rush attempts last week with Clair out!
Game flow is in favor of the Ohio RB’s with a 20.50 point spread. De’Montre Tuggle has been the more consistent of the 2 backs with double digits in 4 straight. Shaq Vann has been too inconsistent for me in cash games, but he has shown a massive ceiling with 41.2 DK points last week!
Cole Tucker- WR is very very weak today. Nobody has been consistently scoring double figures and no WR is averaging more than 55 yards a game. Tucker is the top target, with 52 yards on 6.2 targets a game, for an NIU team who is up against an EMU squad giving up a slate high 241 yards through the air a game.
Notes: WR is the last spot I would build today. Prioritize QB and RB and then see where that leaves you at with WR. Be sure to take a second and check out the logs for players as you consider them as well.
