Worth Paying Up For

Justin Fields (DK Only)- If paying up, Fields is the clear top choice. Though I think there are viable viable options here.

Jalen Hurts (FD Only)- Draftkings has done us the favor of leaving Hurts off the last few slates, but Fanduel continues to have him. You once again have to decide if you can make what is essentially a guaranteed 40 points fit in your lineup.

Kedon Slovis- 3 of the last 4 weeks, Slovis has thrown for over 400 yards and 4 TD’s. What did those 3 games have in common? They were against defenses giving up 250+ yards through the air a game. His loan game under those numbers was against an Oregon defense only giving up 200 yards through the air a game. Today he gets a UCLA squad giving up 298 yards per game through the air.

Dru Brown– With Spencer Sanders done for the year, Oklahoma State turns to Dru Brown. At only 4.9k and in a plus matchup, Brown doesn’t need to do much to hit value and should be a very popular play.

Worth Paying Up For

Chuba Hubbard- With Oklahomat State turning to Dru Brown, look for Chuba to continue to get massive usage. He is a averaging a slate high 172.6 yards on a slate high 25.9 attempts per game. He has scored 30+ DK points in 8 of 10 games this season!

Breece Hall- Hall was given a shot at the lead back role in week 7. His response? 4 of 5 games over 100 yards. Iowa State is 25 point favorites against a Kansas squad giving up 232.7 yards per game on the ground. Breece adds another 100 yard day to his total.

Javian Hawkins- Hawkins is putting together a heck of a freshman year. Already surpassing 1000 yards on the season and just 2 yards away from the school record for freshman. He will have no problem doing that here against a struggling Syracuse defense who is giving up nearly 200 yards per game on the ground.

Worth Paying Up For

Michael Pittman Jr.- We already talked about Kedon Slovis above. In the 3 games Slovis threw for 400+ yards, Pittman had 146+ in all 3. Scoring over 30 DK points in all 3 as well.

James Proche- Double digit Draftkings points in every single game this season and only under 20 twice all season (week 1 and 3). Getting nearly 13 targets a game, giving him a super high floor.

Drake London- Yet another USC player. London has emerged over the last month with TD’s in 3 straight games and 12+ DK points in his last 4.

Myron Gailliard- Gailliard has been out with an injury for the last few weeks but is listed as probable this week after he “recovered well” during the bye week. With Reggie Roberson ruled out, Gailliard steps in to a starting role at just 3.4/5.2k.

SMU- 3.5 point spread with a game total of 67. Sign me up! SMU is loaded with DFS studs: Shane Buechele can be paired with James Proche, Kylen Granson (stud TE), Rashee Rice or Myron Gailliard. Don’t forget about Xavier Jones.

USC- We have already mentioned a few plays here. Kedon Slovis paired with Pittman Jr., London and Amon-Ra St. Brown are all viable. I would stay away from Tyler Vaugns who is fighting an injury.

OSU- A bit of a homer pick here as I am a big Buckeyes fan. Buckeys have looked unstoppable all season and I have a hard time imagining that won’t continue to be the case here. Dobbins, Fields, Olave are the studs with Victor and KJ Hill also viable.

Fanduel Notes

Don’t worry Fanduel players, I didn’t forget about you. We already mentioned Jalen Hurts above, keep an eye on CeeDee Lamb’s status. If he is out, Charlston Rambo becomes a great value. With no Breece Hall or Chuba on Fanduel main, Jonathan Taylor is the clear top RB.

Good luck!
