CFB Top Plays 11/16

Another Saturday is here! Let’s jump right on in!

QB

Worth Paying Up For

Brock Purdy- I expect Purdy to be fairly chalk and for good reason. He is taking on the dreadful Texas defense that we continue to attack week after week with success. Texas is giving up 299.6 yards a game through the air! Purdy is averaging 316.56 yards and 3 TDS a game and is coming off a monster 5 TD game against Oklahoma.

GPP Pivot- Anthony Gordon– While Purdy is the clear cash play, Gordon is a nice GPP pivot. Gordon is averaging 421.56 yards per game through the air and is taking on a Stanford defense allowing over 400 yards of total offense a game. Gordon has a 9 TD, 60 point DK game on his resume this year.

Value

Max Duggan- For some reason the sites just refuse to move Duggans price up. Last week he struggled a bit against a solid Baylor defense. This week he gets a drastically better matchup in Texas Tech. Tech is giving up 308.6 yards per game through the air and another 161 on the ground. Duggans rushing upside gives him plenty of volume to hit value here.

Punt

Davis Mills- Mills has been hurt the last few weeks but is ready to go and likely return to a starting role (K.J. Costello is doubtful). Before getting hurt, Mills had delivered 2 straight 18+ DK performances, which would be more than enough at his price. He also gets a quick tempo matchup with WSU and should be playing from behind.

RB

Worth Paying Up For

Chuba Hubbard- LOCK HIM IN. Chuba is AVERAGING 178.22 yards per game on 26.22 attempts a game. He takes on a Kansas team allowing 235.3 yards per game on the ground! Chuba has slate breaking upside here.

Value

Cameron Scarlett- Scarlett has had an up and down season this year, keeping his price down. But this week he gets a nice matchup against a WSU defense giving up 193.7 yards per game on the ground.

WR

Worth Paying Up For

Brandon Arconado- The top target in a high flying WSU offense. Arconado is averaging 103 yards per game on 10.1 targets a game.

Note: If Collin Johnson sits, an already stud Devin Duvernay gets a boost. He is definitely another option worth paying up for, especially if Johnson sits.

Value

Taye Barber- Barber has emerged as the number 2 behind Jaylen Reagor in the TCU offense. Last week was a dud for TCU in general, but this week is a great bounce back spot for all the same reasons we already mentioned when talking about Duggan above.

Punt

Waydale Jones- With Sage Surratt and Scotty Washington both out for Wake, Waydale Jones should be thrust in to a starting role. It’s a dreadful matchup, but at min salary, it won’t take much to hit value and Wake should be playing form way behind, lending to lots of pass plays.
