After yesterdays MONSTER slate, today brings us a 2 gamer. We won’t go too in depth since its so small, but lets take a look at a few plays to build around as well as our new line production chart.
Washington Top 6- Washington is arguably the best team in hockey and its mainly due to a loaded top 6. With Jakub Vrana taking a major step forward this year, this top 6 is as good as anybody. You can also add in John Carlson and Michael Stempny to this plays and for a punt play, Travis Boyd.
UPDATE: Nicklas Backstrom has been scratched with a UBI. Lars Eller takes his spot on the 2nd line and top PP unit. Also moves Boyd up to the 2nd PP unit. Eller and Boyd represent great value.
Montreal PP units- In order to get the high priced Caps, you are going to need some value. Montreal runs out 2 fairly balanced PP units, making any value piece from either unit viable. If you can afford them, Brendan Gallagher and Shea Weber are the top plays for Montreal. But I would rather prioritize the big boys from Washington.
Artemi Panarin- Umm not really sure what Draftkings is doing here with the bread mans price. He is 5.9k on DK, a whopping $2,500 cheaper than his FD price! Panarin has 25 points in 18 games, with at least 1 point in 15 of 18 games and is currently on an 11 game point streak where he has scored 17 points.
For those who missed the debut of our line production chart, it is simple. Simply a chart showing how many points each line scores based on home/away + defenders. So for Washington 1, the chart is showing how many points combined Ovechkin/Kuznetsov/Wilson/Kempny/Carlson have had on the road this season.
