NHL Top Plays 11/4

Welcome NHL fans! The start of a new week is here and with it comes a 4 game slate. Let’s take a quick look at a few plays to consider!

Top Plays

Boston 1- No line in hockey has been better. Pasta has a league leading 27 points (after starting the year with 0 points his first 2 games), averaging over 2 a game! Marchand is third in the league with 23 points and Bergeron has 14 points, still good for over a point per game. Top play- David Pastrnak.

Edmonton 1- Right behind Boston 1 as one of the best lines in hockey? Edmonton 1! This line features 2 of the best players in all of hockey in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Leon is 2nd in the league in points with 26 and McDavid is tied for 3rd with 23. They have been especially dominate at home, averaging a whopping 2.33 points per home game. The matchup with a solid defensive team in Zona has the Edmonton total below 3. But don’t shy away from a nice PP1 stack in gpp. Leon is also cash viable. Top play- Leon Draisaitl.

Top Value

New York Rangers- With some serious studs on the board, we are going to need some value. Enter the Rangers. The Rangers take on the lowly Senators who per usual, aren’t very good defensively. They are giving up a ton of shots per game and bottom 10 in goals against. Not a surprise to see them have the highest total on the board.

The Rangers offer some great value with guys like Ryan Strome, who has a surprising 11 points in 11 games, including points in 6 straight with 3 of those games being multi point games! An even cheaper value is young Filip Chytil. Chytil got called up the other day and hasn’t disappointed. He has received 16+ minutes both games while delivering with a goal in each game to go along with 7 shots and 3 blocked shots. The entire top 6 and both PP units are very cheap (minus Panarin) and worth considering if you need value. Top Value- Filip Chytil

One Offs

Connor Brown- Another surprising start comes from Connor Brown. Brown is averaging just under a point per game with 11 points in 12 games. Because he isn’t on the Tkachuk line, he has avoided the tough matchups on the road. Leading to 5 points (1 goal, 4 assists) in 5 road games. He is also getting PP1 time and seeing over 20 minutes a game. Teammate Anthony Duclair is also RED HOT with points in 4 straight (4 goals & 1 assist)

Nick Bonino- Nashville seems to have found themselves a heck of a 3rd line. Bonino is being super aggressive lately with 16 shots over his last 3 games, including a 9 shot game where he scored a hat trick! His advanced stats are strong on the year with a 52.72% CF% and 60% HDCF%.
