NHL Top Plays 11/6

Morning NHL fans! It is a Wednesday, which means the usual 2 game slate. But also means televised games! Let’s take a look at some key pieces to build around.

Top Plays

Edmonton 1- Edmonton is taking on a Blues team on the 2nd night of a B2B (went to OT last night too) and should avoid Jordan Binnington, who started last night. Oh, and they have 2 of the best players in the NHL on the same line in Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl. Both McJesus and Draisaitl have 15 points 7 home games, which is good for over 2 points per game! At yesterdays practice, Sam Gagner skated on their wing. Sam would represent elite value if he is indeed skating up top. If it is Alex Chiasson again, he would also be a relevant value, though not as cheap as Gagner. You can safely fill out any stacks with the PP1 unit. Top Play- Leon Draisaitl

Detroit PP1- Detroit 1 is arguably the mos under rated line in hockey. Led by Dylan Larkin (5 points in 8 road games), Anthony Mantha (8 points in 8 road games) & Tyler Bertuzzi (9 points in 8 road games) they are a great way to differentiate your lineup on a slate where Edmonton 1 and NYR should see a ton of ownership. Add in Dennis Cholowski and Taro Hirose as dirt cheap exposure to all 3 on the top PP unit. Top Play- Anthony Mantha

Top Value

New York Rangers PP1/2- We will need to watch the status of Mika Zibanejad. If he is out, we should once again get some great value from the top 6 here. Filip Chytil, Jesper Fast, Adam Fox & Kaapo Kakko all represent sub 5k plays here. Keep an eye on the NY1 line as Kaapo started to get some minutes here last game. If he replaces Fast on the top line, Fast would drop to the 3rd line with no PP time and drop off my radar as a cash play. Kakko saw a season high in minute last game and rewarded the coach with his first 2 point game. Artemi Panarin (8 points in 8 home games) and Ryan Strome (9 points in 8 home games) represent fantastic plays here as well. Panarin is riding a 5 game point streak. Top Value- Filip Chytil (if Zibanejad is out). Top Play- Artemi Panarin
